Process
Day 0: Discovery
A 30-minute call. You walk me through the product, the users, and the moment you're stuck on. I listen, ask the hard questions, and tell you if we're a fit.
Day 1–2: Scope & Proposal
I break the work into clear deliverables with honest timelines. You get a proposal that names exactly what you're paying for.
Day 2: Contract & Kickoff
Most engagements move from discovery to signed contract inside 48 hours. Repo on your GitHub, infra on your accounts.
Day 3+: Design & Build
Design and engineering happen at the same time. You see working software early and often.
Pricing — three ways to engage
Outcomes first, price underneath. Pick the engagement by what you need to walk away with.
MVP — From $5,000
A live product, in weeks not months.
2–4 weeks
Best for: 0 → 1. You have a clear hypothesis and need it shipped.
- Discovery + scope locked in 48 hours
- Web, mobile, or both, built end to end
- Auth, payments, and core flows wired up
- Production deploy on your accounts
- 2 weeks of post-launch support
- Code, infra, and deploys yours from day one
Rebuild — $2,500
Stop fighting the codebase.
1-week audit · fixed
Then $2,500 / week — Rebuild scoped per phase
Best for: You're already shipping, but the codebase is fighting you. We audit first, because the scope only shows up once we look.
- Codebase, infra, and on-call audit
- Costed rebuild plan with reversible steps
- Audit deliverable: a written report you keep, even if we don't continue
- Then weekly engagement, scope agreed per phase
- Incremental by design: no big-bang rewrites, no downtime
- Pause or escalate after each phase
Scale-up — $2,500 / week
Senior throughput, by the week.
Ongoing — pause anytime
Best for: You have product, you need senior throughput. Feature work, perf, infra hardening.
- Weekly scope, agreed each Monday
- Feature work on top of your live product
- Performance, observability, infra hardening
- Pause or cancel any week
- No retainers, no auto-renewal
The terms
- Vendor
- Engaged as Mzed Studio Ltd: UK-registered, VAT-able invoicing, formal contract. Fits standard procurement workflows.
- Payment
- 30–50% upfront, the rest split across milestones. Scale-up invoiced weekly. UK in GBP, everyone else in USD.
- Ownership
- Code, infra, and accounts are yours from day one.
- Refunds
- If we don't agree on scope after the discovery call, no charge. No retainers held.
Why Mzed Studio
Solo & senior
One operator across design, frontend, backend, and infra. No handoffs.
Ship in weeks
MVPs in 2–4 weeks. Working software in users' hands, not Figma frames.
Full-stack
Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres, Stripe, auth, infra. Every layer accounted for.
Production-grade
Type-safe, observable, deployable. The codebase you'd hire to maintain.
Yours from day one
Code, infra, and deploys live on your accounts. A collaborator, never the owner.

FAQ
- How fast can you ship an MVP?
- Most MVPs ship in 2–4 weeks, so you're testing with real users instead of guessing.
- What does a typical engagement look like?
- Discovery call → scope & proposal → sign contract → start building. Design and development happen at the same time, so there's something to click through early.
- Do you handle design, or just development?
- Both. No wireframes sitting in Figma for weeks; you get a working product that looks and feels right from day one.
- What happens after launch?
- It depends. Some founders need ongoing support — scaling, new features, infrastructure. Others are good to run on their own. Either is fine.
- Can you pick up an existing codebase?
- Yes. Whether it's a prototype that needs to become production-ready or a live product that needs new features, I pick up where things left off.
- What stack do you build on?
- Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres, Stripe, and modern infra (Vercel, Cloudflare, edge). Those are the usual choices; the final stack gets picked for your product.
