Emits — Mzed Studio case study
Agent-native HTML hosting. Publish a file or folder from CLI, API, or MCP and get a live, updatable URL.
Overview
A publishing tool, not a deploy platform: hand it HTML and get back a shareable URL, with no repo and no build step.
The problem
Getting a URL for an HTML file is easy. Keeping one stable link that updates in place, with a password, an expiry, and a custom domain, is not, especially when an AI agent made the file.
What we built
- Four ways to publish: the emit CLI, an HTTP API, an MCP server for agents, and drag and drop in the dashboard
- Pages update in place at the same URL, with earlier versions one call away from restore
- Whole folders publish as bundles, assets included
- Account-wide custom domains with automatic TLS
- Password, expiry, and private visibility per page
- Served from the edge with page-view analytics, and published content kept apart from account sessions
Stack
Cloudflare, Convex, Better Auth, Stripe, TanStack Start, MCP
Outcome
